My new favorite dinnertime routine!

Many of us have probably experienced the dinnertime "conversation" that is generated by many 13yo boys: one-syllable answers, perhaps a grunt or "u-huh" if you're lucky. Enter Cards for Masculinity! At the end of dinner, we choose a card and talk about it as a family. It's been an easy way to have more meaningful conversations and share each of our perspectives, and I learn something new about my husband and son almost every day because of them. Brilliant Tool

We recently used these cards in our Men's Behaviour Change Program in Australia and were so impressed. We found the questions thought provoking and so relevant in opening discussions about historically unspoken aspects of masculinity. Our participants were engaged, both in connecting the question to their own experiences but also that of other participants - actively listening to others and using curiosity to learn more through additional questions. I highly recommend these cards - they will definitely be on high rotation in our sessions. Thankyou!
